Q2 2024 Fitness & Weight Loss Apps Performance in the Global Market

As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, we at Sensor Tower have analyzed the performance of the top five fitness and weight loss applications on a unified platform. Here's a snapshot of the trends observed in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading health apps.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) showed a fluctuating download trend, starting the quarter with approximately 18K downloads in the first week and seeing a dip to around 12K, before climbing back to nearly 14K by the end of June. Weekly active users for the app remained robust, beginning at 222K and experiencing slight variations throughout the quarter, closing at about 215K.

Kalorické Tabulky experienced a decline in downloads from 15K to under 10K by the quarter's end. However, the app's revenue showed more stability, with a slight decrease from approximately $4.8K to $4.1K. Weekly active users started at 76K, peaked at 78K, and ended at around 70K.

Step Counter - Pedometer by Hitchhike Tech, despite having no reported revenue, noticed its downloads decrease from 10K to around 7K, with weekly active users starting at 30K and ending the quarter near 28K.

Zepp Life saw downloads begin at 11K and drop to approximately 6K, with a notable decline in revenue from $280 to $16 mid-quarter, before a slight recovery to $148 by June's end. Weekly active users for Zepp Life started strong at 438K but dropped significantly to 331K.

Lastly, Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group generated some revenue, starting at $146 and ending at $101, while downloads saw a peak of 12K early in the quarter, dropping sharply to under 3K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users showed a small decline from 117K to 114K.
